Search Air Rescue (SAR)
software for FreeFlight Systems GPS makes it easy
to conduct search and rescue operations by helicopter
or airplane without covering the same ground twice.
The Search Air Rescue option allows aircraft to enter
and fly grid patterns to aid in performing aerial
searches. Grid Pattern Profiles for Search Air Rescue
and other aerial applications can be created initially
and activated later at the convenience of the user.
Several pattern types are available including Expanding
Square, Ladder, and Expanding Ladder profiles.
